Adding & Editing Shipping Rate Rules

Login to the Advanced Shipping Rules App

  1. Login to the admin panel for oomph (https://oomphhome.com/admin)
  2. Click Apps in the left menubar.
  3. Click Advanced Shipping Rules in the app list.

Finding Vendor

Each product group is sorted by the appropriate vendor. To edit a shipping rate, find the vendor first by scrolling down until you find the vendor’s shipping rates.

Adding a New Product Group

Once you have located the vendor, verify if there is already a product grouping for the shipping rate you need to configure. If there is, then proceed to the Edit a Product Group section below. Otherwise, follow these steps to create a new product group.

  1. Click the Add New Product Group button.
  2. Enter the shipping cost, plus the word Shipping in the Product Group Label field. For example, a shipping rate of $225 should be entered as “$225 Shipping”.
  3. If you already know which products will be added to this group, search for and select them in the Add Products section.
  4. Click Save

Editing Shipping Rates

If you need to edit a shipping rate for a product group, or if you’ve just created a new product group, you will need to configure the shipping rates.

  1. Click Edit Rates to the right of the selected product group.
  2. Under each of the shipping rate categories, click Add Shipping Rate and enter the information as shown below (NOTE: for some vendors, such as Century Furniture, you will need to create two rates- one called Residential and one called Business)

  1. Click Save
