Collection Page Image Metafields

We can add the image via a metafield in poshify with the following steps:

  • In admin click “Poshify Utils”
  • Choose “Collections”
  • Search for the collection you had just created / client had created by typing in the collection handle / title
  • create a namespace which in this case will be slides
  • add a key which will be named either first, second, or third. This is all dependent on if the collection image has more than 1 image. So if there is only one image then Namespace: slides and Key: first would only be needed. If there is more than one image make sure that you count up for the key first, second, third, fourth and so on - then the images become a slideshow!
  • For the “Save as” option choose “String (deprecated”)
  • Lastly add the image source link (can be copied in admin where images get uploaded to)
