Adding a Line Item With Custom Configurations
Line items will allow you to specify custom configuration options if that product is managed within the oomph Product Engine application. Not all products are managed through here- mainly furniture pieces with a wide variety of options will allow you to specify custom configurations.
- Begin typing the product name in the Product field in the middle of the page
- As the autocomplete list populates, click on the product you wish to add
- After you click on the desired product, the available product options will populate below the search field. Choose the options you’d like to use for this product
- The SKU will automatically change with each changed option. In the event that a SKU is not found, you will be able to manually change the SKU
- Enter the total number of pieces you would like to add to your draft order in the Quantity field
- When you are satisfied with your selection, click the Add to Draft Order button. The new line item will now appear in the Cart sidebar with the selected options

Add a Line Item Without Custom Configurations
In the event you add a product to your draft order that is not managed by the oomph Product Engine application, you will not be able to specify custom configurations. You will, however, be able to choose one of the available variants that are managed within Shopify. Since SKUs for these products are managed through Shopify, the SKU for the selected variant is not editable here.
You will see a warning that the product contains no configuration information- since most of the products regularly sold on the oomph website are managed within the oomph Product Engine application, this warning should be used to expand your search if you are expecting a product to be available with several options.
- Being typing the product name in the Product field in the middle of the page
- As the autocomplete list populates, click on the product you wish to add
- Once you click on the desired product, the available product variants will populate below the search field. Choose the variant you would like to use for this product.
- Enter the total number of pieces you would like to add to your draft order in the Quantity field
- When you are satisfied with your selection, click the Add to Draft Order button. The new line item will now appear in the Cart sidebar with the selected options

Editing a Line Item
- Click the Edit button in the top-right corner of the line item you wish to edit
- The line item properties will appear in the Product section of the page. You can change any of the product options here and the SKU field will populate automatically with the new SKU. If no SKU is found in the system, then you will be able to manually enter one here. Note: you cannot change the product associated with a line item to another product. For example, if you are editing a line item for a Tini II Lamp and wish to change that line item to a Tini I Lamp, you will need to remove the incorrect line item and add a new line item.
- Once you are satisfied with your changes, click the Update Line Item button
Note: If you are editing an existing draft order and have edited the line item discount of a line item in Shopify, the discount will be recalculated when that line item is updated.

Reporting Issues
While migrating from one system to another, we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible, but on a rare occasion you may notice incorrect product information. To make reporting these issues quick and easy, we have included a built-in error reporting function in the oomph Product Engine.
- Click the link at the bottom of the product details panel. This link will be contained within the text “Is there an issue with this product? Click here to report it.”
- A box will appear asking you to describe the issue within the product. Enter as many details here as you can.
- Click Send. This will send us the product information along with your feedback so we can investigate the problem and resolve it.
