Shopify POS Integration
The oomph Product Engine application now integrates directly with the Shopify POS system you already use. This integration will allow you to automatically apply discounts to your orders and add line item properties for your product configurations.
Using the Product Options Editor

To use the Product Options Editor, you will first build out your cart in the Shopify POS interface and link a customer, just as you would normally. Once you have added all your products and customer information, click the “oomph Draft Orders / Edit Product Options” tile to open the cart editor.

To correctly apply product configurations and SKU information, you will need to choose values for the customizations each of your products offer. If a configuration is different from what you chose when adding the product to the cart in the Shopify POS (such as choosing a King size bed instead of Queen) the POS integration will automatically correct this for you. Make sure all options are selected. Click the Save button in the lower-right corner of the page to save your cart changes and calculate any applicable discounts.
Note: quantity is controlled via the Shopify POS and cannot be changed within the Product Options Editor. If a SKU does not automatically populate, you will be able to enter a manual SKU

If you add or remove a customer after using the Product Options Editor, you will need to reopen the editor and click the Save button in the bottom-right corner to recalculate the applicable discounts.
Troubleshooting
If you experience trouble using the Product Options Editor, you can send a log directly to Text Connects which will detail the issue you experienced. To do so:
- Open the Product Options Editor
- Click the Show Log button in the top-right corner of the editor
- Repeat the changes you made that caused the error(s) to occur
- Click Save in the bottom-right corner of the page
- When the changes are complete, click the Send Log to Developer button (this will appear in the top-left corner of the page below the log output)
- The log will be sent to Text Connects and a ticket number will be displayed. Note down this number and Text Connects will begin investigating the issue automatically. We may be in contact to ask for further details if necessary.
