Adding New Bundles to Mechanic App

Before creating a bundle, you are required to configure the bundle product and the individual components of the bundle with SKUs. These SKUs need to be unique across variants, and all bundles and the individual components must be assigned a SKU.

For the purposes of this instruction guide, we will be using a bundle called Text Connects Bundle. This bundle is composed of three products as shown below:

  3. In the search field, enter maintain-inventory-for-a-product-bundle, then click the search result called Maintain inventory for a product bundle

  1. Enter a descriptive name in the Task Name field for your bundle. If you are not planning on using the bundle right away, uncheck the Enabled? checkbox.
  2. Enter the SKU you assigned to the bundle product in the Bundle Product SKU field
  3. Enter the SKU for each of the bundle components in the bundle product in the Component Product SKUs and Quantities Per Bundle section. If you need to add more SKUs to the bundle, click the Add Item link.
