How to Configure Free Gift with Purchase

In the theme customizer, go to the theme settings (paintbrush icon)

You will see this section called GWP Cart

Enable GWP Checkbox - this turns on the GWP or turns it off
GWP Title - The heading of the promo when in the cart
GWP Button Text - Can change the text that shows in the button below the free gift(s)
GWP Product - You can select what the free gift is from the products list
GWP SKU - To only allow 1 Sku - this is where you will add the sku of the product if there is a specific variant or no variants for the free gift. For example - the mini bag has multiple variants that are all available for the free gift, so you only select the product and don't add any sku numbers.
GWP Tag - Enter the tag name in the text field - the tag = whatever you put on the product in the admin to indicate that this product qualifies for a free gift. In this example, dev-gwp tag is what triggers the free gift to show when that product is added to the users cart

When running a free gift promo, this script has to be enabled as well in the script editor app to trigger the discounted price of the free gift

Also, if you change the tag that is used for a free gift promo, it needs to be updated in the script code.

Click the CODE tab

The highlighted area of the script (promoTag) is where you can edit the tag name. Just delete the old one and add in the new tag name
