How to do customer data export in Shopify

  1. In Shopify - export Customers to CSV
  2. Once you download the file, open in EXCEL
  3. Add a new column next to Column S (NOTE) and use the following equation in all the cells for your new column T

=SUBSTITUTE(S2,CHAR(10),",")

4. Select Column T and copy the contents / Right click and paste SPECIAL into column U, PASTE VALUES ONLY

5. Select all of column U (the newly pasted version items) and click on DATA — > TEXT TO COLUMNS. Select delimited, by comma and just hit NEXT till completed

6. This will create new columns for all the options, just add headings and remove the items before the : with a find and replace

FIND = Birthday: (Note there is a space after : )
Replace with: ______ (Just leave blank)
