How to Generate a Discount Code in Shopify

1. Log into your Shopify store
2. In the Admin panel on the left side of the screen click Discounts

1. Click on the Create Discount button on the right side of the page.

1. Select the type of discount to be created - Select Discount Code.

1. Fill out the sections on the Create discount code page - The headings will change based on the type of discount, this is the headings listed when the page is first opened.
   1. Discount code - Two options:
      1. Add your own code to the text box.
      2. Click Generate code for Shopify to do it for you.

• 1. Type of discount

• 1. Select the Value
  2. Select what the discount code applies to.
  3. Minimum requirements
  4. Customer eligibility
  5. Usage limits
  6. Active dates

1. Double check that everything is correctly filled out
2. Click the Save discount code button
